The UK’s National Project Management Association
IPMA UK is a non-profit professional organisation dedicated to advancing project management excellence in the United Kingdom. As the representative body of IPMA in the UK, it promotes the adoption of international standards, fosters innovation, and empowers professionals and organisations to excel in project, programme and portfolio management.
By providing certifications, facilitating knowledge exchange, and encouraging improved PM practices, IPMA UK drives the capability development and growth of the PM profession across all sectors.
The IPMA (International Project Management Association) has led the profession of project management since 1965 – the first such organisation in the world. IPMA is dedicated to their mission of orchestrating the project profession for a better world.
IPMA UK has been approved by IPMA as the new distinct voice for the PM Profession in the UK. We form part of the IPMA global network that thinks globally and acts regionally.
IPMA UK delivers Four Levels of Certification for P3M professionals.
Project Management Certification
The assessment steps for individuals are applied to each of the IPMA competence level A, level B, level C and level D. When candidates meet the competence requirements, they can apply directly for the desired Level. You do not need to start at level D and move your way up to C and B and A.
